Dont waste your time getting a rental from ezu, Daisy the branch manager is only quick when taking payment but acts dumb when asking for documents when doing a claim for your insurance.

We were charged a late collection fee as our plane arrived later than expected. It was explained but not really appreciated.

Neg 5 star. Wrong car that we booked. Not clean.Hade to put brake fluid in it. Big glass chips on drivers side. No managers available to discuss things. They dont really care, just want your money.

Disappointed I collected the car to discover I had to pay $1000 bond even though I paid for full protection cover. The back windscreen difficult to see out of. It took 24 days to get my $1000 back.

Car was clean and economical, the shuttle service was great , and my deposit was refunded straight away! The staff were super friendly and helpful, would definitely use again!

Knocking sound from front suspension, a death trap. Replacement vehicle had a rear hatch with a faulty locking mechanism. Could not lock any doors using the key remote. Office phone not monitored

the car smelled of cat piss, the back seat was filthy, the tyres were barely legal and the windscreen was filthy. apart from this it was ok.

I have to return the car to the Christchurch airport, which I did and got charged $50 as they claim I returned it the the wrong location.

The car had many stains and it smelled like wet. Child seats were disgusting. The reversing camera crap and was broken. They didn’t know what car seats we needed and gave us incomplete seats to start

Returned the car 5/9/2025 1pm and was talking to this white slim guy with a beard. I asked about the rental price of a van, he was very rude and bluntly said “i dont know”, did not make an effort.

Filthy infant car seat causing health issues

Petrol tank was 3 quarters full. Tires were below minimum tread. Having a $1000 hold on my credit card even though i had paid full insurance was also poor. Would never use ezu or car jet again

The battery is not good enough to start the car in Queenstown, i need go to your branch to change the battery for my journey. Waste my time.

I booked through "discovety car" with "a full insurance". yet in the end while returning the car, "EZU" took $700 out of my $1000 deposit for insurance again.

Booked 8 seater van + roof racks; received no roof racks, 6 seater. Pickup & dropoff was chaos Only positive was staff (Asian girl with glasses working at the Queenstown on Sat Jul 26 and Sat Aug 9)

The vehicle did not display a current registration, windscreen was noted at pick-up The remote key was unreliable the handbrake/footbrake system was faulty and didn’t hold the car securely when parked

The car smelt - I think this was because the interior was wet
